Ben grew up in Falls City, Nebraska and graduated from Auburn High School in 1994.  He served his country for four years in the United States Marine Corps.  After being honorably discharged in 1998, he attended Peru State College and later went on to Kansas City Kansas Community College where he received an associate degree in Mortuary Science.  Ben served his apprenticeship at Casey-Witzenburg in Auburn, which he then had the opportunity to purchase in April of 2001.

In addition to his funeral service work, Ben is the former president of the Auburn Rotary Club, is a member of Knights of Columbus, the Auburn American Legion Post #23, the Falls City Lions Club and is on the board of the Auburn Avenue of Flags.  He enjoys spending time golfing, hunting, camping,  and being with his family and friends.

Ben and Amanda were married in 1996 and have three sons, Hayden, Bradley and Owen.

Amanda Hall

Amanda (Nichols) Hall grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School in 1994.  She and Ben were married in 1996 and have three sons, Hayden, Bradley and Owen. Amanda assists with bookkeeping, preneed accounts and funerals. Amanda is a Certified Celebrant and can help families with personalized funerals.

She is active with the Auburn Civic Women's Club, is on the Creative Corner Preschool Board, the Keep Auburn Beautiful City Commitee and is a member of Kiwanis.  Her hobbies include golfing, reading, cooking, photogrpahy, and spending time with her family and friends.

Virginia Gerdes

Virginia Gerdes

Virginia joined the Hall Funeral Chapel staff in 2005. She is a lifelong resident of Nemaha County and was married to the late Milbern Gerdes. Together they raised 3 children. Virginia enjoys quilting, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
