Lorelei “Lori” Lamonne Foster, 76, of Omaha formerly of Shubert, Nebraska was born on Monday, July 28, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia on a sunny 85-degree day to Thurman and Anna Marie (Harger) Anderson.  A few years later the family relocated to Shubert, Nebraska to be near Anna Marie’s mother.  It was there where Lori attended the Shubert K-12 School.  During her high school years, she met and eventually married her sweetheart Gerald B Foster.  The couple moved up to Omaha to continue their family.  Upon their separation in 1979, Lori received her Associates Degree from the College of St Mary focusing in Respiratory Therapy.  She worked in that field for a while until finding her niche as a client services manager.  Lori worked the next 20+ years of her life managing different customer service and support teams.  Lori loves Jesus and was very active in church and her community.  She also had a very unique knack for crafting and was an accomplished DIY’er.

Lori passed away at her home in Omaha on Thursday, September 7 having reached the age of seventy-six years, one month, and ten days.  She is preceded in death by both her parents and her brother Robert (Carla) Anderson.  Lori is survived by three children; Bruce (Rebecca) Foster, Angie (Gary) Williams, and Amie (TJ) Martineau, her 11 grandchildren, and her 18 great grandchildren.

A memorial celebration of life service will be held at the Montclair Village Clubhouse (3030 S 127th St, Omaha, NE 68144) on Thursday September 14th, 2017 at 6:30PM with snacks afterword.

A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Prairie Union Cemetery in rural Shubert, Nebraska with a luncheon following at the Shubert Christian Church (203 Main St, Shubert, NE 68437) at Noon.
