David B. Wilson

David B. Wilson, 86 years of age, of Falls City passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Falls City Healthcare Community in Falls City. He was born on April 12, 1931 in Lake Spring, Missouri to Bryan and Jessie (Randolph) Wilson. David married Barbara “Bobbie” Stewart on March 19, 1954 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was often referred to as the “Pie Man” as he made wonderful pies. David was a Line Foreman on the railroad for over 20 years. He was a member of the Good News Assembly of God Church in Falls City and enjoyed working, traveling and being his wife’s caretaker the last 11 years of her life.

David is survived by a son, David Wilson, Jr. and wife Joanne of Funk; 2 daughters, Brenda Judy and husband Daniel of Deshler, Leetta Hafner and Jeremy Daake of Kearney; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Barbara “Bobbie” on July 22, 2015.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Good News Assembly of God Church in Falls City with Pastors David Wilson and Tim Boatright officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the church in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left online at www.hallfuneral.net.
