Donald Wayne Hoppe

Donald “Donnie” Wayne Hoppe, 55, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on April 19, 1964, in Falls City, Nebraska to Louis and Ruth (Fouraker) Hoppe.  He was raised in Falls City where he received all of his schooling.  Donnie graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the class of 1982.  In November of 1982, he entered the United States Marine Corps and served his country until being honorably discharged with several awards and medals in 1986.  Donnie was united in marriage to Sonya Mandery on October 6, 1990, in Falls City, Nebraska.  He was currently employed as a facility manager at Ag Partners in Humboldt.  Donnie was a loving husband and father that prided himself on his kids and grandkids.  He loved camping, woodworking, Husker football and being with family and friends.  Donnie was loved by many family members, in-laws, friends and co-workers.

Donnie passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 having reached the earthly age of fifty-five years, four months and nine days.  He was preceded in death by his father Louis and father-in-law Larry Mandery.  He is survived by his loving wife Sonya of Falls City, daughters: Brooke (Andy) Dean of Falls City, Alisha Hoppe and Travis Witt of Falls City, grandchildren: Gavin and Owen Dean, Treyden Marx and Aspen Witt, Travis’s children Bailey, McKenzie & Delanie Witt all of Falls City, mother Ruth Meuniot of Falls City, mother-in-law Helen Mandery of Falls City, sisters: Candy Bauman of Falls City, Ann (Jim) Huerter and  Kim Bauman of Topeka, KS, Lari Jo (Todd) Thompson of Rulo, a brother Jeff (Kathi) Hoppe of Falls City, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Donnie’s Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 407 Pacific street in Falls City, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family’s choice with a later designation.
