George "Squirrel" Darrel Rhodd

George “Squirrel Darrel Rhodd, 79, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on March 1, 1940, to George F. and Ardith (Simpson) Rhodd in White Cloud, Kansas. He attended school in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School with the class of 1958.  Darrel was a member of the 1958 Falls City State Champion Basketball Team.  After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country in active duty from March 19, 1959 until being honorably discharged on August 7, 1962.  Darrel passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy-nine years, eight months and twenty-two days.  He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Jill Sue Rhodd, brother-in-law Harry Foote and a sister-in-law Shirley Rhodd.

Darrel is survived by Mildred Rhodd of Falls City, children: Darron Rhodd of Falls City, Sam (Shawna) Rhodd of Liberty, MO, Angela (Rhodd) Frenzel of Falls City, Paul (Rhodd) Meyer and wife Nancy of Auburn; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers: Reggie Rhodd of Falls City, Louis (Elda) Rhodd of Eudora, KS; Ronald Rhodd of Falls City, sisters: Karen Foote of Falls City, Debbie (Steve) Ogden of Lockwood, MO; Pam (Larry) Longacre of Eudora, KS; Lisa (Derald) Eggerman of Lockwood, MO, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A register book for Darrel will be available to sign from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Hall Funeral Home, 2403 Harlan St. in Falls City.
