Kevin Ray Keithley, 52, of Lexington, Nebraska was born on August 12, 1965, in Auburn, Nebraska to Darrel and Judy (Abegglen) Keithley. He was raised in Auburn where he had all of his schooling. Kevin graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1985. After graduating, Kevin began to work at a sewing factory in Nebraska City. It was there that he met Patricia “Trish” Vinson and the couple would later unite in marriage on November 19, 1988 in Humboldt, Nebraska. The couple began their marriage living outside Humboldt before moving to a farm outside of Auburn. In 1992, Kevin and Trish moved to Lexington, Nebraska where Kevin worked for sixteen years at Tyson Foods. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and anything that was outside. He was a skilled carpenter that enjoyed woodworking very much. Kevin was diagnosed with brain cancer ten years ago and has fought a courageous battle that included two brain surgeries. Needless to say, Kevin was very strong willed and was a fighter to the very end.
