Ronald Lee Grooms

Ronald Lee Grooms, 68, of Auburn, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, October 10, 1919, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center West in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-eight years, four months and sixteen days.  He was born on May 24, 1951 in Auburn, Nebraska to Frank and Sadie (Henderson) Grooms.  Ronald grew up in Nemaha and attended grade school there through the 8th grade before attending Southeast Consolidated High School.  He was formerly employed as a security guard at Cargill in Nebraska City.

Ronald is survived by his children: Shawn Grooms of Brownville, Jenny Jura and husband Frankie of Bennington, grandchildren Sheena and Ace, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters: Cathleen Byrom of Nexa, MO, Donna Herold of Nebraska City and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Sid Byrom.

Inurnment will be at the Nemaha Cemetery in Nemaha, Nebraska at a later date.

Memorials contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
