Bonnie Rae (Severs) Wright, 78, of Auburn, Nebraska was born on December 20, 1941, in Peru, Nebraska to Gerald R. and Fern (Morris) Severs. She was raised in Brownville and received her early grade schooling in Peru and Brownville. Bonnie later graduated from Nemaha High School with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage to James Sheckler and the couple lived in Auburn. The couple were married only a short time before James passed away from health complications. Bonnie was later united in marriage to Donald Wright in Humboldt, Nebraska on July 6, 1963. The couple made their home in Auburn where Bonnie first worked for Danny Dare. They later moved to Tecumseh where Bonnie worked as a nurse’s aid at Belle Terrace Nursing Home and later at Good Samaritan Nursing Home when the couple moved back to Auburn. Bonnie was a member of the Brownville Christian Church and enjoyed spending her spare time camping, fishing, hunting, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

Bonnie passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy-eight years, eleven months and twenty-five days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands James Sheckler and Donald Wright, a sister Kathleen (Robert) McConnell, an infant brother Darrel Severs, sister-in-law Sally Severs and great-nephew Zaine Severs.

Bonnie is survived by her brothers: John Severs of Auburn, NE; Gerald Severs Sr. and wife Cindy of rural Humboldt, NE; a sister Linda Gray of Auburn, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.

Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
