Brian Keith Zentner

Brian Keith Zentner, 46, formerly of Falls City was born August 29, 1976, in Falls City, Nebraska to Gary and Lavina (Wenz) Zentner.  He was raised in Falls City where he received all of his schooling.  Brian graduated from Falls City High School with the class of 1994 and continued his education by attending Peru State College where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology.  

Brian was an on-road truck driver for most of his working career.  He began driving truck for Prime Trucking out of Springfield, Missouri before working for Pawnee Transfer in Humboldt, Nebraska and finally at Lortcher Ag Service in Bern, Kansas.  Brian was a caring son and father who loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter Emily.  He enjoyed playing video games, watching Kansas City Chiefs football and any activity that involved being with Emily. 

Brian passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas having reached the earthly age of forty-six years, three months and twelve days. He was preceded in death by both of his grandparents and an aunt Linda Church. 

Brian is survived by his loving daughter Emily Barrand and her husband Phoenix of Falls City, NE; parents Gary and Lavina Zentner of rural Falls City, NE; granddaughters Cameron and Vivian Barrand of Falls City, NE; Aunts: Lois Williams of Auburn, NE; Lucy Strasil and husband Tom of Falls City, NE; an uncle Leon Wenz and wife Mary of Falls City, NE; and many other relatives and friends.   

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Good News Assembly of God Church in Falls City, Nebraska with Pastor Tim Boatright officiating.     

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
