Carolyn Lee Fox

Carolyn “Carol” Lee (Aubrey) Fox, 76, of Stella, Nebraska was born on March 16, 1946, in Clayton, Missouri to William and Faye (Stiltz) Aubrey.  She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri until the age of 15, when her family moved to California.  She lived there for 18 years before moving to Nebraska where she has resided since.  Carol graduated from high school with her G.E.D. and continued her education by completing her LPN degree from NEKA-VOTECH nursing school.  She worked as a nurse for twenty years in southeast Nebraska at various nursing homes.  Carol attended Grace Bible Church in Stella for many years and in her spare time enjoyed collecting beanie babies and making stained glass angels.

Carol passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy-six years, eight months and nine days.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold and brother Jimmy Aubrey.

Carol is survived by her sons Bob Newman and wife Tj of Stella, NE; Jeffrey Baumann of Denison, KS; step-daughters: Bridget Dugger and husband Steve of Palmer, NE; Kimberly Bungenstock and husband Randy of Fairfax, MO; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th Street in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor David Lockard officiating.  Interment will immediately follow services at the Stella Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th street in Auburn.   

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family with a later designation.
