Claudia Jean (Blevins) Bachman

Claudia Jean Bachman, 70, formerly of Rulo, Nebraska was born on July 17, 1952, in Falls City, Nebraska to Lloyd E. Blevins and Joyce Rae Ann Simmonds.  She was raised in Rulo, Nebraska and received all of her schooling there.

Claudia passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at her home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy years, ten months, and nine days.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary “Jody” Bachman, brothers Tyrone and Gary Popejoy, and an infant sister Viola.

Claudia is survived by her sons: Scott and Josh Bachman both of Humboldt, NE; daughters: Jeana Dovel of White Cloud, KS; Dawn Bernhardt and husband Dean of Horton, KS; grandchildren: Steven Ogden, Scott Bachman Jr., Christopher Bachman, Ali Ivey, Leland Bachman, Azra Bachman, Ella Bachman, Stephanie Bachman, Josh Bachman Jr., Jesse Bachman, Sophia Bachman, Hunter Gifford, Brett Dovel, Dalton Dovel, and Cheyenne Dovel, 9 great-grandchildren, brothers: Jack, Bob, and Ralph Popejoy all of Rulo, NE; sisters: Myrene Aerts of Green Bay, WI; Joyce King, Elizabeth Wilson, and Marie Wenzl all of White Cloud, KS; Mary Nauman and Brenda Schulenburg of Rulo, NE; and many other relatives and friends. 

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
