OBITUARY
Clyde Newton Keithley son of Tom Keithley and Edna (Long) Keithley was born October 18, 1913 in Stella, NE. He was one of five children born to this union.
Clyde was raised in the Nemaha County and resided in the Auburn area his entire life. He was united into marriage to Hazel Armstrong December 14, 1934 in Rockport, MO. Clyde farmed for 21 years and was a woodcarver for 20 years. He retired in 1981. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Marland Keithley and Melvin Keithley, two sisters, Glayda Armstong and Murial Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Keithley, two sons, Darrel Keithley of Auburn, Claren Keithley and his wife Pam of Rapid City, SD, one daughter Shirley Ledbetter of Bossier City, LA, six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
