Darrell Eugene Farson, 90, of Lakewood, Colorado was born on June 16, 1933, in Nemaha, Nebraska to John and Myrtle (Martin) Farson. He graduated from Auburn High School and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Darrell entered into active duty in Omaha, Nebraska on September 1, 1953 and served his country during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged on August 31, 1956 at Camp Pendleton, California.
Darrell passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Collier Inpatient Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Patricia Young and Connie Griffin, daughter Darlene Farson, and brothers Clyde, Melvin, and Ernie Farson.
Darrell is survived by his daughter Evelyn Sandoval and her husband Jaime of Arvada, CO; a brother Maynard Farson and his wife Diane of Omaha, NE; grandchildren: Tyler Billington and wife Ashley of Arvada, CO; Todd Billington and wife Tuya of Federal Heights, CO; Brooks Billington and wife Anabell of Arvada, CO; great-grandchildren: Beau and Sloane Billington of Arvada, CO; Theodore Billington of Federal Heights, Co; Lillian Billington of Arvada, CO; step-daughter Raylene Cook and her husband Danny of Edmund, OK; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, the Nemaha Cemetery in Nemaha, Nebraska with Dorothy Smith officiating. Full military honors will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
