Dessie Eileen Bressler, age 85, born and raised in the Shubert and Stella, NE area, passed away Friday, June 24, 2005, at the Braswell Hampton Manor in Yucaipa, CA. Funeral services for Dessie Eileen Bressler will be held Thursday, June 30, at 10:00 at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE, Burial will follow at the Sheridan Cemetery,in Auburn, Visistation will be Wednesday, June 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.

Dessie Eileen Bressler daughter of Lloyd Sylvester Bright and Donna Mae Davis Bright was born on January 5, 1920 in Shubert, NE.
Eileen was raised in the Shubert and Stella area she was united in marriage to Charles John Bressler on September 23, 1941 in Plattsmouth, NE. Though out Eileen’s life she had lived in Omaha, NE, Pickstown, SD, California, and in Las Vegas, NV. She was a secretary with Los Angeles Unified District Schools for 25 years. She had been a member of the Auburn Chapter of O.E.S. and a member of the Stella Christian Church. Due to failing health Eileen moved from Las Vegas to the Braswell Hampton Manor in Yucaipa, CA. It is there that on Friday, June 24, 2005 Eileen passed away having reached the age of 85 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, one brother and one sister.
Those left to mourn her passing are her sister Patty Kirkendall of Falls City, NE; Mary Jane Robertson of Beatrice, NE; brother Larry Ludwig of Yucaipa, CA; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
