Don Ramer Obituary
Don J. Ramer, 60 years old of Farmington, NM, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005 at his home in Farmington. He was born February 18, 1945 at Stella; NE. Don was the son of the late Joe and Alice Ramer.
He was united in marriage to Bonnie Curtis and later divorced. Don married Shelly Lewis on November 17, 1998 in New Mexico. Don was raised in Barada, NE. He is survived by his wife Shelly of Farmington, NM; four sons Don E., Brian, Stephen and Rocky and one daughter Lorraine; step-children Matthew, Penny and Linda Stutsman, and many grandchildren. Locally he is survived by two sisters Doris Jarred and Melba Rowell both of Falls City, NE; two brothers Gary Ramer of Reserve, KS; and John Ramer of Verdon, NE; He was preceded in death by his three brothers Dorman, Herbert and Bud, and one sister Bonnie.
Services where held Wednesday April 27, in Farmington, NM; Don was cremated and there will be a graveside memorial service Tuesday May 3, at 1:30 p.m. at the Harris Cemetery in Barada, NE. Hall Funeral Home in Falls City, NE is in charge locally of arrangements for Don J. Ramer.
