Dorothy F. Barnett, age 90, of Glenrock, NE passed away Wednesday, February 17, at her home in Glenrock. A graveside service for Dorothy F. Barnett will be held Sunday, February 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the Glenrock Cemetery.
No visitation or viewing scheduled.
Obituary:
Dorothy Florence Leslie daughter of Milo L. Leslie and Lillian M. (Curtis) Leslie was born on March 22, 1925.
She was raised in rural Auburn, and has lived in Glenrock most of her life. She was married to Harold D. Barnett and raised five children. Dorothy worked at the sewing factory in Auburn, waitressed and cleaned houses. She enjoyed collecting dolls, angels, teddy bears and dishes. She was a past member of Auburn Eagles Club often working in the kitchen to help prepare meals.
Due to ongoing illness Dorothy passed away Wednesday, February 17, at her home in Glenrock with her family by her side.
Dorothy was a loving and caring woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Harold, two sons Harold J. Barnett, and Donald L. Barnett, grandson Dwayne D. Barnett and brother Jack Leslie
She is survived by her children Leslie (Ted) Barnett of Glenrock, NE; Lucille (Lily) Cox and husband Jim of Appleton, WI; JoAnn Barnett of Glenrock, NE; brother Milo Leslie and wife Betty of Auburn, NE; sister-in-law Ruth Leslie of Auburn, NE; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Hall Funeral Chapel of Auburn, NE is in charge of arrangements for Dorothy Barnett.
