EDWARD GARLAND ALLGOOD
Edward Garland Allgood son of Earnest Allgood and Wilma (Neal) Allgood was born June 2, 1938 in Peru, NE. He was one of eleven children born to this marriage.
Edward was raised in Peru, NE, he entered the Navy in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1961. Ed then went to work for the Corps of Engineers in Picktown, SD. He later moved to Phoenix, AZ with the Department of Energy.
He was united in marriage to Annette Hudleston in Las Vegas in 1981. In 1985 they moved to Las Vegas when Ed started work for Nevada Power. Together they raised four children. He enjoyed racing, and restoring old cars. Ed retired from Nevada Power in 2000
Due to illness Ed entered the Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas and it is there where on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 Ed passed away having reached the age of 66 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife Annette Allgood of Las Vegas, NV children, Harold Allgood, of Las Vegas, NV; Michael Allgood of Las Vegas, NV; Gerald Allgood of Las Vegas, NV; Ronnie Gibson of Lawrence, KS; 4 grandchildren, brothers Robert Allgood of Superior, NE; Bill Allgood of Sutherland, NE; Gary Allgood of Peru, NE; Harlod Allgood of Kingsland, TX; Arnold Allgood of Las Vegas, NV; sister Pauline Beuchamp of Omaha, NE;
