Frank William "Bill" Brown, age 84 of Auburn, NE. passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the Nemaha County Good Samaritan Center in Auburn, NE. A funeral service for Bill Brown will be held Monday, January 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Cemetery.

Visitation for Bill Brown is Scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 22, 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6 p.m.- 8p.m. Sunday evening at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE.

He is survived by, his wife Darlene Brown of Auburn, NE; daughter Sherrie Edstrand of Auburn, NE; son James Brown of Auburn, NE; grandson Matt Edstrand and wife Jill of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren Michaela, Sam, Gabriel, of Omaha, NE; and sister-in-law Marjorie Kinghorn of Auburn, NE; one niece, and one nephew, other relatives and many friends.

Obituary Frank William Brown son of Earl C. Brown and Edna (Buckles) Brown was born July 7, 1921 in Falls City, NE. He was one of two children born to this union.Bill attended school and graduated high school in Atchison, Kansas. Bill was married to Darlene Bouwens on January 14 1945 in Auburn, NE; Bill and Darlene lived in Auburn, all of the 61 years they were married they raised two children a son and a daughter. Bill worked many jobs through out the years. He was a painter at Auburn Consolidated Industries for many years. And had his own trailer business. Bill loved sales and Auctions, he was a past member of Auburn Jaycee’s, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and camping with his family. He was a devoted husband loving father and grandfather.

Due to ill health Bill entered Nemaha County Good Samaritan in August of 2003 and it is there that on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 he passed away having reached the age of 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife Darlene Brown of Auburn, NE; son James Brown of Auburn, NE; daughter Sherrie Edstrand of Auburn, NE; grandson Matthew Edstrand and wife Jill of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren Michaela, Sam, Gabriel of Omaha, NE; sister– in– law Marjorie Kinghorn of Auburn, NE; one niece and nephew, other relatives and many friends
