Garland Gene Willey

Garland Gene Willey, 76, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on October 3, 1941, in Salem, Nebraska to Leve Frank and Maude (Rowland) Willey.  He was raised near the Salem and Falls City area.  Garland was united in marriage to Dora Hanesworth.  The couple have made their home in Falls City where Garland has worked various jobs throughout his life.  Garland passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at his home in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the age of seventy-six years, seven months, and twenty-five days.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roger Willey, and a sister Darlene Willey.

Garland is survived by his loving wife Dora of Falls City, NE; daughters: Velvet Guy of Grandview, MO; Carmen (Paul) Bent of Hiawatha, KS; Rhonda (Rick) Brook of Falls City, NE; Kristine (Chris) Wegner of Lincoln, NE; sons: Daren Willey of Robinson, KS; Bryan (Susan) Willey of Sabetha, KS; Dwayne Willey of Independence, MO; a brother Frank (Myrna) Willey of Falls City, NE; brothers-in-law: Larry (Peggy) Hanesworth of Falls City, NE; LeRoy Hanesworth of Hiawatha, KS; sister-in-law Clara (Rich) Rowland of Falls City, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date with inurnment at the Maple Cemetery in Salem, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later designation.
