Gene Russell Schuetz

Gene Russell Schuetz, 71, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on February 21, 1947 in Humboldt, Nebraska to Lawrence and Mildred (Meinzer) Schuetz.  He graduated from Dawson-Verdon High School.  On March 21, 1971, Gene was united in marriage to Carolyn White in Verdon, Nebraska.  To this union two sons, Eric and Travis were born.  Gene was a resident of Falls City where he worked as a machinist and heat treat operator for Ames True Temper in Falls City.

Gene passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Falls City having reached the age of seventy-one years, four months, and twelve days.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim and Larry Schuetz.

Gene is survived by his sons: Eric (Misty) Schuetz of Falls City, NE; Travis (Bobbie) Schuetz of Falls City, NE; grandchildren: Tiffany, Jordan, and Lucas Schuetz of Falls City, NE; Adrian and Clarissa Schuetz of Falls City, NE; sisters-in-law: Shirley Schuetz of rural Verdon, NE; Jane Hogue of Humboldt, NE; and many other relatives and friends. 

Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
