Survivors include his children William Thompson and wife Nancy of Riverton, WY; Candace Cooper of Nebraska City, NE; Tommy Thompson of Irving, TX; Lila Johnson and husband Mike of Irving, TX; step-children Darrel Dierking of Lincoln, NE; Keith Dierking of Nebraska City, NE; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
