Hazel M. Keithley, age 88, of Auburn, NE. Passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the High Rise apartments in Auburn. Funeral Services for Hazel M. Keithley are scheduled for Thursday, August 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn, NE burial will follow at the Nemaha Cemetery in Nemaha, NE.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE.
She is survived by her children, daughter Shirley Ledbetter of Bossier City, LA; sons Darrel Keithley of Auburn, NE and Claren Keithley of Rapid City, SD; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

OBITUARY
HAZEL MARIE KEITHLEY
Hazel Marie (Armstrong) Keithley daughter of Katherine Mandery and David C. Armstrong was born on May 29, 1917 in O’Neil, NE. She was one of four children born to this marriage.
Hazel lived in O’Neil, NE as an infant and then moved to the Nemaha County area where she remained for the rest of her life. She was united in marriage to Clyde Keithley on December 14, 1934 in Rockport, MO. There was three children born to this marriage. Hazel worked as a seamstress and cook. She was employed by the Dan/Deb Sewing Company and by the Auburn Public Schools. Hazel retired in 1981.
Hazel was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. She was baptized and confirmed as a young girl at St. Paul’s.
She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge since 1942.
Hazel passed away on August 21, 2005 at her home in Auburn. She had reached the age of 88 years, 2 months and 24 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde who passed away on December 21, 2004, brothers Russell and Merlin and sister Oneta.
She is survived by her children, daughter Shirley Ledbetter of Bossier City, LA; sons Darrel Keithley of Auburn, NE and Claren Keithley of Rapid City, SD; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
