Janice Elizabeth (Wallace) Vanderford

Janice Elizabeth Vanderford, 81, of Auburn, Nebraska was born on January 9, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky to Mr. Mrs. Wallace.  She was raised in Louisville, Kentucky and received her all of her schooling.  Janice was united in marriage to Donald Vanderford on November 10, 1955.  The couple raised their family in Germany and Texas before moving to Auburn, Nebraska in 1977.  Janice passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Bryan LGH Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of eighty-one years, four months and twelve days. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Karina Vanderford and Stephanie (Vanderford) Held.

Janice is survived by her children: Katherine Sheen and husband James of Ogden, UT; Dave Vanderford and wife Jeanne of Oxford, MI; grandchildren: Amanda Sawka and husband Keith of Oxford, MI; Stephen Vanderford of Norwalk, OH; great-granddaughters Kennedy and Harper Sawka of Oxford, MI; and many other relatives and friends.

A Private Family Inurnment was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the London Cemetery in rural Auburn, Nebraska.
