OBITUARY
Jessamine Hays McMullen
Jessamine Hays Hinds daughter of Daniel Hinds and Gertrude (Hays) Hinds was born in Council Bluffs, IA. October 16, 1910. She was one of two children born to this union.
Jessamine was raised in the Stella area she graduated from Stella High School and attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO. Jessamine was united in marriage to Richard McMullen June 14, 1930 at her parent’s home near Stella, NE. To this marriage three children were born.
She was a life long member of the Stella Community Church, an active member of the O.E.S. and D.A.R. Jessamine worked for years with her husband Richard both in the Banking and Insurance business.
Due to sudden illness Jessamine entered Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, NE of Saturday, July 16, and it is there that on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 she passed away having reached the age of 94 years. Jessamine was preceded in death by her husband Richard, brother Hays Hinds, one grandson Philip Hill, and grand-daughter Hattie Burton.
Those left to mourn her passing are her children, Eleanor Hill of Stella, NE; Mary Burton of Falls City, NE; Andrew McMullen of Stella, NE; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
