Jesse H. Kirkendall

Jesse H. Kirkendall, age 86, of Falls City, NE, passed away Friday, February 21, at Bryan LGH west in Lincoln, NE. His body was directly cremated and there will be a private family service at a later date.

Jesse Henry Krikendall son of Ben L. Kirkendall and Sophia (Parchen) Kirkendall was born on November 1, 1927 in Falls City, NE. he was one of three children born to this union.
He was raised in Barada, NE, attended school in Barada up thru the tenth grade. He was united in marriage to Donna Reschke on May 26, 1950 at the Methodist Church in Falls City, NE. To this marriage two children were born.

Jesse worked as a farmer for many years and as a carpenter for Byroms Construction. He was also a past member of the Elks Club in Falls City.He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Sophia.

Jesse is survived by his wife Donna Kirkendall of Falls City, NE; son Bruce Kirkendall and wife Janet of Auburn, NE; daughter Debra Shafer and husband Vernon of Falls City, NE; two grandchildren, Kody Kirkendall and wife Christen of Maple Grove, MN; and Kari Nickman and husband Jim of Kearney, NE; three great-grandchildren, Emma and Logan Nickman and Harper Kirkendall, one brother Dean Kirkendall of Falls City, NE; and one sister Mary Howard of Barada, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services for Jesse H. Kirkendall are entrusted to the Hall Funeral Home of Falls City, NE.
