Joseph L. Robling, age 67 of Auburn, NE passed away October 12,2005 at his home in Auburn. Services for Joseph Robling will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 14 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Robling of Auburn; Sons Brian Lee Robling and wife Kathy of Omaha; Richard Charles and wife Kristine Bentley of Omaha; Daughters Brenda Jean Mazzulla (Robling) of Auburn; Barbara Jo Hammer (Robling) of Auburn; Rebecca Lynn and husband Tony Oldfield of Auburn; Justine Marie Robey of Auburn and Nancy Ellen Bentley of Omaha. 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Brothers Edwin Robling and wife Ramona of Belton, MO; Randal Robling and wife Betty of Otwell, IN and Lowell Robling and wife Agnes of French Lick, IN.

OBITUARY

             Joseph Lee Robling son of Alonzo Robling and Annetta (Bauer) Robling was born August 22, 1938 in Hudsonville, Indiana. He was one of four children born to this marriage.

             Joseph was raised in Otwell, Indiana and it is there that he attended school through the 12th grade.

             He was married to Marlyce (Haak) Robling and to this union four children, Brenda, Barb, Becky, and Brian were born. On January 24, 1989 Joe was united in marriage to Sharon (Ziepke) Robling in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joe and his family have lived in Auburn since 1967. He worked as a Boilermaker with local Chapter 83 for 38 years. Joe & Sharon also owned and operated Southside Bar in Auburn for 11 years.

Joe loved boating, singing, dancing, riding his mower, playing pool and shuffle board. He never knew a stranger, always had a joke to tell and truly enjoyed life. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather.

Due to an ongoing illness Joe passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at his home in Auburn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 Survivors include his wife Sharon Robling of Auburn, NE; Sons Brian Lee Robling and wife Kathy of Omaha, NE; Richard Charles and wife Kristine Bentley of Omaha, NE; Daughters Brenda Jean Mazzulla (Robling) of Auburn, NE; Barbara Jo Hammer (Robling) of Auburn, NE; Rebecca Lynn and husband Tony Oldfield of Auburn, NE; Justine Marie Robey of Auburn, NE; and Nancy Ellen Bentley of Omaha, NE; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Brothers Edwin Robling and wife Ramona of Belton MO; Randal Robling and wife Betty of Otwell, IN; and Lowell Robling and wife Agnes of French Lick, IN and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
