Karen Marie (Rhodd) Foote

Karen Marie (Rhodd) Foote, 74, of Falls City was born on November 21, 1945 in Falls City, Nebraska to George and Ardith (Simpson) Rhodd.  She was raised in Falls City and attended Falls City public schools.  On July 15, 1988, Karen was united in marriage to Harry E. Foote in Hiawatha, Kansas.  The couple made their home in Falls City.

Karen passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the age of seventy-four years, ten months and twenty-two days.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, son Mark, granddaughter Andrea and a brother George D. “Squirrel” Rhodd.

Left to cherish Karen’s memory are her children: Kris Keller of Falls City, Kelley Barker of Falls City, Sherie Elms of Falls City, Martin Elms and wife Erynne of Bern, KS; John Elms and wife Nancy of Falls City; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Louis Rhodd and wife Elda of Eudora, KS; Reginald Rhodd of Falls City, Ronald Rhodd of Falls City, sisters: Deborah Ogden and husband Steve of Lockwood, MO; Pamela Longacre and husband Larry of Eudora, KS; Lisa Eggerman and husband Derald of Lockwood, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Private Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Tesson Cemetery in White Cloud, Kansas at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family with a later designation.
