Karen Freitas Obituary

Karen M. Freitas, 67, formerly of Auburn, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-seven years, four months, and twenty-one days. She was born on November 11, 1957, in Ogallala, Nebraska and raised in Auburn, Nebraska where she graduated from Auburn High School. On May 22, 1998, Karen was united in marriage to William J. Freitas Jr. The couple made their home in Lincoln, Nebraska until William passed away in 2000. Karen returned to Auburn where she has worked and resided since.

A graveside inurnment service was held at the Sheridan West Cemetery in Auburn officiated by Pastor Nate Powell.
