Kathryn (Kitty) L. Hoy

Kathryn (Kitty) L. Hoy, age 88, of Falls City, NE, passed away Monday, September 16, at the Careage Estates in Falls City. A graveside service for Kathryn Hoy will be held Saturday, September 21, at 10:00 a.m. at the Heim Cemetery north of Dawson, NE.

Visitation will be Friday, September 20, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home in Falls City with family greeting friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Family Choice.


Obituary for Kitty Hoy

Kathryn (Kitty) Lucinda Sargent Hoy daughter of Leslie Evert Sargent and Ella Viola (Harmon) Sargent was born on August 29th 1925 in Falls City, NE. She entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 16, 2013. Kitty had three brothers, Ralph Brooks, Paul Brooks and Donald Brooks. She had four sisters Marie Schneidewind, Pearl Boyd, Elva (June) Herron and Laura Sargent. Kitty worked as a cook for many years.
She lived in the Murray, Weeping Water, and Elmwood areas before moving to Shubert, NE. She had lived in Verdon and Salem, and for the past years lived in Eagle, NE until her stroke. For the last two years due to illness Kitty has lived in Falls City at Careage Estates. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, her husband Robert, children, Viola Sandoval, Lloyd Murphy, and Randy James.
She is survived by her children, Billy Murphy, Judy Chockran, Jesse James, Kalina Strode, Bobbie Schroder, Leslie Hoy, Robert (Scott) Hoy and Kelly Waggoner, six step-children, Diana Perez, Roger Hoy, Rocky Hoy, Mary Ann Mendez, Terry Hoy, and Orville Hoy, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
