Lee Moyer Obituary
Lee Moyer, age 69 of Auburn, NE, passed away Sunday, November 8, at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, NE. A memorial service for Lee Moyer will be held Wednesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE., with Tom Osborne officiating. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
No viewing, friends and family may sign the register at the Hall Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 10. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 to7 at the Funeral Home.
Obituary:
Lee Moyer son of Irwin Lee Moyer Sr. and Marguerite May (Rounds) Moyer was born on August 2, 1946 in Auburn, NE. He was one of five children born to this union.
He graduated from Auburn High School and on September 23, 1966 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Sherman at the Peru Community Church in Peru, NE. to this marriage two sons were born.
Lee went to work for the Armstrong Cabinet Factory in Auburn in 1965 and worked there for forty-four years retiring in 2009. Lee also owned and operated Last Chance Locksmith business in Auburn for more than twenty years.
Due ongoing health problems Lee entered the Heart Hospital in Lincoln and it is there that on Sunday, November 8, 2015 Lee passed away he had reached the age of 69 years, 3 months and 6 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Moyer of Auburn, NE; sons Scott (Susan) Moyer of Las Vegas, NV; David Moyer of Auburn, NE; granddaughter Jordan Moyer of Lincoln, NE; one sister Kathy (Ralph) Drake of Friend, NE; two brothers, Cecil (Cheryl) Moyer of Nebraska City, NE; Norman Moyer of Friend, NE; other relatives and friends.
