Leland G. Headley

Leland passed away at Nemaha County Good Samaritan Care Facility in Auburn, NE on Wednesday, April 27, 2005, he was 76 years old, Leland was from Brownville,NE.

There will be no services for Laland Head;ey his Cremains will be laid to rest at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Brownville, next to his beloved wife Barbara. He is survived by one brother Charles Headley of Gibbon, NE.

Leland G. Headley son of Leland G. Headley and Cleo A. Kinney was born July 22, 1928 in Brownville, NE. He was one of three children.

Leland was raised in Brownville, NE. He graduated from Auburn, High school in 1946. he attended Peru State College and the University of NE. Leland was united in marriage to Barbara J. Wheeldon in Tecumseh, NE. They were members of the Auburn Christian Church. Leland worked as a Printer for 40 years at the Auburn Newspaper. After Barbara's death in June of 2000 Leland lived at their home in Brownville until due to ill health he moved to Nemaha County Good Samaritan in Auburn. It's there that on Wednesday, April 28,2005 he passed away having reached the age of 76 years. Leland was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, and one brother John (Jack) Headley.
He is survived by his brother Charles Headley of Gibbon, NE.
