Lillian L. McPherson, age 84, of Falls City formerly of Brownville, NE, passed away Thursday, February 27, at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, NE. A funeral service for Lillian McPherson will be held Wednesday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brownville Christian Church in Brownville, NE. burial will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Brownville, NE.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday March 4th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn family will greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lillian L. (Helms) McPherson, daughter of Lee Roy Helms and Florence Opal (Allen) Helms was born on August 1, 1929 in Stella, NE. She was one of four children born to this union.
As an infant her family moved to Auburn, then to Peru, NE when Lillian was in early grade school, she attend school in Peru up thru high school. Lillian was united in marriage to Virgil Wilbur McPherson on November 3, 1948 at the Auburn Christian Church. To this marriage nine children were born.
They made their home in Brownville, NE. Lillian was a past member of the Brownville Christian Church, and a member of the Walnut Grove Cemetery Association. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Lillian moved to Falls City, NE to be closer to her children. She has lived at the Eastview apartments for past several years. Due to ill health she entered the hospital in Falls City and was later transferred to the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, NE. It is there that Lillian passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014. She had reached the age of 84 years, 6 months, and 26 days. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister, her husband, one infant son Darold, two daughters Daryla Stalder, and Beth Ann Ramsey.
She is survived by her children, Leonard McPherson of Falls City, NE; Betty Ervin and husband Ronald of Humboldt, NE; Edra Hersh and husband Steve of Terry, MT; Frank McPherson of Plainville, KS; David McPherson of Falls City, NE; Mark McPherson of Kansas City, MO; sixteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one sister Naomi Hughes of Elkhorn, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
