Linda McMann Obituary
Linda Diane (Huey) McMann, 68, of Auburn, Nebraska was born on March 27, 1948, in Auburn, Nebraska to Clyde and Shirley (Vice) Huey. Linda was raised with her family in Nemaha where she attended grade school and graduated from Nemaha High School with the class of 1966.
On July 3, 1971, Linda was united in marriage to Gary “Red” McMann at The Christian Church in Auburn by Rev. Frank Zimmerman. Linda was a homemaker most of her life. She moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Auburn later in life when her health began to decline.
Linda passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn, Nebraska having reached the age of sixty-eight years, eleven months, and twenty-five days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gary “Red” McMann, a brother John Huey, and granddaughter Shelbi Huey.
Linda is survived by her sons: Tim Huey of Shubert, NE; Steve (Nancee) McMann of Auburn, NE; step-children: Cindy (Tracy) Haynes of Carlsbad, NM; Brian (Deb Hammon) McMann of Humboldt, NE; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jim (Linda) Huey of Waterloo, IA; Rick Huey of Nemaha, NE; a sister Paula (Gary) Hays of Shubert, NE; sister-in-law Karen Huey of Nemaha, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at The Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor Robert Chitwood officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at The Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family’s choice with a later designation.
