Lawrence H. Rogge Jr. son of Lawrence H. Rogge and Patricia (Casey) Rogge, was born in Auburn, NE on September 11, 1942. He was one of two children born to this union.
Larry was raised in Johnson, NE and graduated from Johnson High School. He then attended the University of Nebraska where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics.
After graduation Larry then was Commissioned in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Missile Intelligence Officer. Through out his career he was stationed in South Dakota, Colorado, Okinawa, North Dakota, Germany and California, after which he retired from the service with the rank of Major. Larry was a member of the Trestle board Masonic Lodge of Brock, Nebraska and a member of the Bender-Reese American Legion Post in Johnson, Nebraska.
Larry passed away Monday November 15, 2004 due to sudden illness. He had reached the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 4 days. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence H. Rogge.
He is survived by his wife Betty Alberts, three sons Nathan Rogge and wife Jessica, Joshua Rogge and Jason Rogge, two grandchildren Paige and Andrew Rogge, his mother Pat Rogge, sister Kris Rogge, and other relatives.
