Mary Jane (Schneidewind) Hall

Mary Jane Hall, of Auburn, passed away Thursday August 4, 2016 at the age of 95. She was born on December 28, 1920 in Auburn to Joseph and Mary (Henrichs) Schneidewind. Mary Jane graduated from Auburn High School in 1939. She married James “Paul” Hall on February 21, 1940 in Hiawatha, Kansas. They were lifelong farmers in the Nemaha area. Mary Jane enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting.

Mary Jane is survived by a son, Jim Hall (Linda) of Nemaha; daughter, Kris Ferguson (Dave) of Raymond; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Kuhns (Jeff), Carrie Hall (Noah Vice), Rian Hall, Kody Hall (Erin); 5 great grandchildren, Logan, Justin, Jordan, Levi & Jacob; brother, Joe Schneidewind and wife Laura of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul; son, Allan; 2 grandchildren, Matt Hall and Joel Hall; and a brother, Russ Schneidewind.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert with Pastor Bill Stearns officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 – 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 – 7 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the funeral home. Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn in charge of arrangements.
