Mary Ramer Obituary

Mary L. Ramer, age 74, of Falls City, NE, passed away Wednesday, June 4, at the Falls City Community Hospital. a memorial service for Mary L. Ramer will be held Monday, June 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church near Verdon, NE. burial of her ashes will follow at the St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.

No viewing is scheduled, visitation will be Sunday, June 8, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 2 to 3 Sunday afternoon at the Hall Funeral Home in Falls City, NE.

Obit:

Mary Louise McKee daughter of Lawrence McKee and Irene Wilma (Jorn) McKee was born October 5, 1939 in Verdon, NE. She was one of three children born to this union.
Mary was raised in Verdon and graduated from Verdon High School. She was united in marriage to Earl Ray Ramer on November 6, 1955 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. To this marriage three children were born.
Mary was a hard worker, she worked for Falls City Creamery, and for Rowell’s Bakery for more than thirty years. Mary was very active and always doing for others. In 2006 Mary lost her husband of fifty-one years Earl. And in the past several years even though her mind was sharp Mary struggled with physical illness. Due to this she entered the Falls City Care Center where she has lived for the past two years.
She was transferred to the Falls City Community Medical Center and it is there that on Wednesday June 4, 2014 Mary passed away having reached the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 30 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
She is survived by her children, Pam Wittwer and husband Randy of Falls City, NE; David Ramer and wife Kathy of Dorchester, NE; Douglas Ramer and wife Kristi of Crete, NE; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers Ralph Mckee and wife Deloris of Dell Rapids, SD; and Harold Mckee and wife Ruby of Kansas City, MO; other relatives and friends.


Hall Funeral Home of Falls City, NE is in charge of arrangements for Mary L. Ramer.

Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Richardson County Humane Society
