Patricia "Pat" Irene (Strodtman) Eggert

Patricia “Pat” Irene Eggert, 87, of Auburn, Nebraska was born on October 21, 1933 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to John and Clara (Denzin) Strodtman.  She was raised in Unadilla, Nebraska with her family where she received all of her schooling.  Patricia attended Unadilla High School and later received her G.E.D. from Auburn High School in December of 1988.  On April 10, 1952, Patricia was united in marriage to Roland Eggert and to this union three children Fred, Vicki and Christine were born.  The couple began their marriage living in South Carolina while Roland was in the Marine Corps.  They moved back to Unadilla, then to Scottsbluff, Nebraska before settling in Auburn.  Patricia worked many years as a seamstress for Danny Dare in Auburn before switching jobs as a seamstress at Pendleton’s in Nebraska City.  She later returned to work in Auburn at King Louie’s (formerly Danny Dare) where she took the position as supervisor.

Patricia passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of 87 years, 8 months and 13 days.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland Eggert, daughter Vicki McMann, a brother Raymond Strodtman and his wife Jean, and a sister Mildred Beason and her husband Fred.

Patricia is survived by her children: Fred Eggert and his wife Rose of Blairstown, MO; Christine Silvey and husband Harold of Auburn, NE; grandchildren: Dale Eggert of Las Vegas, NV; Wendy Bridges and husband Myron of Foristell, MO; Sandy Eggert and life partner Ian Reuter of Blairstown, MO; Kayla Schulte and husband Andrew of Doniphan, NE; Hanna Danner and husband Tom of Maryville, MO; Kendra Beller and husband Devin of Lincoln, NE; 8 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Clifford McMann of Auburn, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th Street in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor Nate Powell officiating.  The service was also livestreamed on the Hall Funeral Chapel Facebook page and a link to the live stream is available at the bottom of Patricia's webpage. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.  Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
