Robert Nincehelser Obituary
Robert (Bob) Nincehelser, age 69, of Peru, NE, passed away Saturday, October 24, at the Douglas County Health Care Center in Omaha, NE. A memorial service for Bob Nincehelser will be held Wednesday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE. burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Peru, NE. Graveside military rites will be provided by Peru V.F.W. and the Army National Guard Honor Guard.
Viewing and visitation will be Monday, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Family will greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
Obituary:
Robert Steven Nincehelser, son of Loyd Nincehelser and Anna Mae (Simons) Nincehelser, was born on January 13, 1946 in Omaha, NE. He was one of eleven children born to this union.
Bob was raised in Peru, NE and graduated from Peru Prep. Bob enlisted in the U. S. Army and served one tour of duty in Vietnam. He then returned to Peru where he earned a bachelor degree in special education from Peru State College. Bob reenlisted in the Army after college and served another four years. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1979.
He was united in marriage to Jill Smith on July 15, 1978 in Felixstowe, England. To this marriage two daughters were born.
Bob returned home to Peru to farm and raise cattle. Farming and his family were his life.
Due to ongoing illness, he was taken to the Douglas County Health Care Center in Omaha. It is there that on Saturday, October 24, Bob passed away. He had reached the age of 69 years, 9 months and 11 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Nancy Ingraham and Bessie Engles, and one brother Ed Nincehelser.
He is survived by his wife Jill Nincehelser of Peru, NE; two daughters Carolyn Robinson of Omaha, NE; and Joan Nincehelser of Omaha, NE; one granddaughter Taylor Robinson; sisters and brothers, Verla (Bob) Perry of Northwood, IA; Ethel (Rex) Filmer of Gretna, NE; George (Cindy) Nincehelser of Peru, NE; Janice Rush of Auburn, NE; Mike (Sherry) Nincehelser of Omaha, NE; Linda (Jerry) Pasco of Auburn, NE; James Nincehelser; mother-in-law Joan Smith of Felixstowe, England, brother-in-law Richard Engles of Texas; sisters-in-law Yvonne (Patrick) McCourt of Felixstowe, England and Patricia Smith of Felixstowe, England, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
