Rosaline “Rose” Violet Lochmann, 78, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on March 23, 1939, in Arkansas to Emmit and Stella Jane (Campbell) Pomeroy. She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed crocheting, bowling, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Rosie was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Falls City.
Rose passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the age of seventy-eight years and three days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jon, grandsons Collin Hardenberger and Cody Whittington, a brother Howard Pomeroy, a sister Mary Pomeroy, and daughters-in-law Nancy and Shauna Hardenberger.
Rose is survived by her children: Rick (Kim) Hardenberger of Stockton, MO; Cheryl (Jim) Hall of Falls City, NE; Doug (Heather) Hardenberger of Maumelle, AR; David Hardenberger of Cairo, NE; 17 grandchildren: 22 great-grandchildren; sisters: Myrtle Bowman of Phoenix, AZ; Ellen (Robert) Baxter of Little Rock, AR; a brother Edward Pomeroy of Colorado; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 20th & Towle ST. in Falls City, Nebraska with Pastor Andrew Chavanak officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at The Hall Funeral Chapel in Falls City, Nebraska. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family’s choice with a later designation.
