Sarah was a very hard working and loving person that carried many different jobs throughout her life. She was a devoted mother and farm wife that always put her family needs before her own. Sarah was a member of the Christian Church in Auburn, Charter Oak Christian Church in Talmage, and Auburn Eagles Club Aerie #3767.
Sarah passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn, Nebraska having reached the age of ninety-seven years, two months, and twenty-seven days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Silas, daughter Darlene (Jerald) Robinson, infant son John, and her 13 siblings.
Sarah is survived by her daughter Cathy Coulter and her husband Dean of Auburn, NE; grandchildren: Christy (Kevin) Tanner of Auburn, NE; Vicki (Mike) Langner of San Jose, CA; Jody Uglow of Savannah, GA; Steve Robinson of rural Tecumseh, NE; John Robinson of Sterling, NE; David Robinson of Tecumseh, NE; Patricia (Mike) Potter of Oklahoma City, OK; Traci (James) Reyes of Lincoln, NE; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great- grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor Tom Osborne officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Nebraska. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Sheridan Cemetery in Auburn.
