Sherry L. (Slagle) Ludwig

Sherry L. Ludwig (Slagle) age 71 of Yucaipa, CA, formerly of Shubert, NE; passed away January 8, at her home Yucaipa, CA. A funeral service for Sherry L. Ludwig will be held Monday, January 20, at 11:30 a.m. at the Shubert Christian Church in Shubert, NE. Burial will follow at the Harris Cemetery in Barada, NE.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, from 12 to 8 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE.


Obituary:

Sherry Lynn (Slagle) Ludwig, daughter of Paul and Alberta (Parriott) Slagle was born on July 25, 1942 in Auburn, Nebraska.  Sherry was raised in Shubert, Nebraska and attended school, and graduated from Shubert High School in 1960.  Sherry was united in marriage to Larry B. Ludwig on July 3, 1960 at the Shubert Christian Church.  They lived in Shubert for several years, and then moved to LaVista, Nebraska where she worked in real estate sales.  She was also active in the LaVista Jaycees for several years.  They moved to Dallas, Texas in 1983, and then moved to California in 1987 and to Yucaipa, California in 1998.  Two daughters, Pamela and Teresa were born to this marriage.  Sherry is survived by her husband Larry; two daughters, Pamela (Leon) Kunze, and Teresa Willett, and 4 grandchildren, all of Yucaipa, and other relatives, and many, many friends.  Preceding her in death were her parents.

Hall Funeral Chapel of Auburn, NE is in charge of services for Sherry L. Ludwig.
