Vera B. (Willard) Jeanneret

Vera B. (Willard) Jeanneret, 86, of Brock, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.  She was born on November 12, 1935 in Brownville, Nebraska.  Vera was the oldest of four children born to Clarence and Eva Bell (Simms) Willard.  She was raised in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School.

On May 31, 1953, Vera was united in marriage to Paul Jeanneret Jr. and to this union four boys, David, Dennis, Darrell and Delbert were born.  Vera was a member of the Auburn Christian Church where she was baptized in 1951.  For many years, Vera helped the community print the Brock Bugle and volunteered her time at the Good Samaritan Society in Auburn.  She enjoyed cross stich and working with plastic canvas.  Vera made all the family Christmas ornaments throughout the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul in 2004, her sister Dorothy Schlup and brother Ronald (Kayberdena) Willard.  Vera is survived by her sons: Dave Jeanneret of Brock, Dennis Jeanneret and Linda Carder of Brock, Darrell Jeanneret of Auburn, Delbert Jeanneret and wife Kristal of Brock, 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and her sister Janice Jeanneret of Papillion, NE.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th Street in Auburn with Johnny Jeanneret officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Interment will immediately follow services at the Clifton Cemetery near Brock, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
