Obituary

Virginia “Gini” Fouraker, 65, of Tucson, Arizona, lost her short battle with cancer on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.

Virginia daughter of Marvin and Marie Kentopp was born on Sept. 9, 1949 in Falls City NE. She grew up in Salem and graduated from Falls City High School.

In 1968, she married Frank “Butch” Crane Jr. and they had one son, Kenneth Crane. They divorced a few years later.

She married Edwin Fouraker on Dec. 31, 1980. Edwin brought his children, William and Gail Fouraker to this union. In 1994, Gini and Ed moved to Tucson. Gini retired from Tucson Unified School District in 2014 after 16 years of service.

Gini is survived by her husband, Edwin Fouraker of Tucson; son, Kenneth Crane; daughter, Gail (John) Parker; step-son, William Fouraker; sisters, Joyce Repp, Mary Miller, Janet (Lawrence) Rowland, Leona (Sherman) Rowland; nine nieces, five grandchildren, two great granddaughters; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
