Willa M Morris

Willa M. Morris, age 89, of Auburn, NE passed away Wednesday, February 17, at the Good Samaritan Society in Auburn. A Graveside funeral service for Willa Morris will be held Saturday, February 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lafayette Cemetery near Brock, NE. Jackie Gfeller officiating.

Viewing and visitation will be Saturday February 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.

Obituary:
Willa Mae Roberts daughter of William S. Roberts and Evelyne G. (Kyriss) Roberts was born on January 26, 1927 in Auburn, NE.

She graduated from Auburn High School in 1944. Willa was united in marriage to the love of her life Merle Morris on April 25, 1947 in Hiawatha, KS. Willa and Merle where blessed with one daughter Linda.

The couple made their home in Brock, NE and were members of the Brock Christian Church. In 1961 they moved to Auburn where they lived for the next 54 years. Willa worked as Librarian for many years in Auburn. She loved to paint and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Willa, due to ongoing illness entered Good Samaritan Society in November of 2015 and it is there that on Wednesday, February 17 that Willa passed away. She had reached the age of 89 years, 22 days. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Willa is survived by her husband Merle (Mac) of Auburn, NE; daughter Linda Morris of Grant, NE; two brothers-in-law Larry Morris and wife Beth of Pikeville, NC and Robert Makovicka of Brock, NE; and many friends.
