Wilma F. Wagner, age 83 of rural Brock, NE. Passed away Wednesday, June 27, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Johnson, NE. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
There will be no viewing but there will be visitation Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hall Mortuary in Johnson family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wilma is survived by her husband Donald Wagner of Brock, NE, daughters Janice and husband Lonny Bohling of Papillion,NE, Jayne and husband Michael Scofield of Lincoln, NE, and sons Dennis and wife Ramona of Sterling, CO, and David and wife Ann of Dardenne Prairie, MO. six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, sisters Frances Chaffee and husband Harold of Lincoln, NE and Virginia Meints of Tecumseh, NE, Brother-in-law Floyd Vrtiska of Table Rock, NE.

OBITUARY
Wilma F. Wagner was born March 14, 1924 at Virginia, NE to William and Antonia (Kalina) Reiman. She was one of four daughters.
Wilma graduated from Virginia High School in 1941. She was baptized in the Christian Church in Los Angeles, CA in 1942. Wilma attended the National Business Institute in Lincoln from 1942 through 1944 worked for Civil Service for the U.S. Army at the Lincoln Air Force Base and the Port of Embarkation at Wilmington, CA. She attended Los Angeles City College for one year. From 1945 through 1948, she worked for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and attended classes part time.
Wilma was married to James M. Lairmore on May 14, 1949 and they lived at Vesta, NE. One daughter, Janice, was born to them. Her husband was killed on November 9, 1954. On February 7, 1958 she was married to Donald C. Wagner at St., John Lutheran Church in Sterling, NE. Three children, Dennis, David, and Jayne, were born to them. They resided on a farm northwest of Johnson for 47 years. Wilma retired on June 30, 1989 from the Johnson-Brock Public School where she was a secretary for 21 years. She enjoyed spending her time journaling, knitting, playing the piano, emailing, bird watching and loved Sunday drives. She will mostly be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Wilma was a member of the Johnson United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women, Johnson American Legion Auxiliary #330, W.F.L.A. at Table Rock; Tecumseh Booklovers Club; Order of the Eastern Star, Brock; Johnson Rag volunteer; Nemaha Valley Museum and Nemaha Geological Society.
Due to sudden illness, Wilma went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. She had reached the age of 83 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Dorothy.
Wilma is survived by her husband Donald Wagner of Brock, NE, daughters Janice and husband Lonny Bohling of Papillion, NE, Jayne and husband Michael Scofield of Lincoln, NE, and sons Dennis and wife Ramona of Sterling, CO, and David and wife Ann of Dardenne Prairie, MO. six grandchildren, Trevor and Kyle Bohling, Jason and Samantha Wagner, and Kathleen and Kristine Wagner, two step-grandchildren, Willis and Lucas Scofield, sisters Frances Chaffee and husband Harold of Lincoln, NE and Virginia Meints of Tecumseh, NE, Brother-in-law Floyd Vrtiska of Table Rock, NE. nieces and nephews, cousins, the 10:00 a.m. coffee ladies and many friends.
